Latest observation shows that Moncks Corner went from 70 to 61 in 20 minutes.

After a high of 80 at the airport, the bottom will fall out of the mercury this afternoon as a cold front moves through the area from north to south. Moncks Corner is already down from 72 at 1:35 PM to 61 at 2:15 PM; expect similar temperature drops throughout the area as the afternoon progresses.
Scattered showers have broken out along and ahead of the front as well. There are a couple downpours indicated on the radar, but most rain amounts should be light.
Don’t expect temperatures to get north of 60 tomorrow as a cool wedge of high pressure influences our weather.
